Tell us about your position and what you enjoy about it:
“I joined Swiss Korfball almost two years ago as secretary where I am mainly responsible for communication, e.g. to members via newsletters, from/with outside via e-mail and our website, point-of-contact for the social media team (doing great! :)), communication within board, and I support the professionalization of our still young sports federation. I really like to be involved and getting to know so many of the volunteers making korfball in Switzerland possible!”

Why do you LOVE Korfball?
“I love korfball because it is a dynamic mixed-gender sport, with both male and female players. I also like it that you are forced to collaborate with your team mates as you are not allowed to move once you have the ball. This makes it a true team effort to score a goal. And I like the atmosphere in the Swiss korfball-playing community and really hope we will soon be able to play together again!”

A big part of my role is knowing what needs doing and finding the right volunteers to make it happen. I really enjoy being in touch with so many people and inspiring them to take ownership and make something happen! The growth that Swiss Korfball has experienced over the last few years has been amazing and internationally we are already being compared with countries that have started much longer ago.”
